Angkor tour

An unforgettable 4-day visit to this fabulous site

Cambodia: an unforgettable four-day visit to the fabulous Angkor site, with it’s vast jungle clad temples and mysterious stone carvings.  A tour of the major sites, plus some lesser known ones, including a short jungle trek to a rarely visited temple.  The tour will include both sunrise and sunset visits.

We’ve spent some 15 years fine-tuning our Angkor programme with the intention of providing a comprehensive itinerary, which  will show you a variety of sites at a leisurely pace. Siem Reap can get very hot and the temples are a very popular destination so our aim is to optimize the time spent at the temples, avoiding both the worst of the heat, the crowds and ‘temple fatigue’.   Chances are this may be your only visit to one of the world’s most spectacular wonders, so make the most of it.

Our suggested accommodation is a comfortable mid-range hotel; well located, with pool and spa facilities, however, upgrades to 4 or 5* are available upon request.

Here's an idea of what you can expect to do and see day-to-day.

Day 1 - Siem Reap - arrival and dusk visit

Afternoon check in to our centrally located hotel and time to relax before beginning your exploration of Angkor.  This will be an unforgettable tour of this fabulous site, with its vast, atmospheric,  jungle clad temples and mysterious stone carvings. We will begin with an atmospheric dusk visit to the rins of Banteay Kdei.

Flights to Siem Reap from, for instance, Saigon or Bangkok are available or an overland transfer by taxi from Phnom Penh can be arranged - just ask.

Day 2 - Angkor - Angkor Wat and Angkor Tom

After a midday break in Siem Reap Town, the afternoon programme continues with a short jungle walk to Ta Keo via the remote and rarely visited Ta Nei Temple. A visit to the famous Ta Prom ruins – the famous ‘Tomb Raider’ Temple,  continues our jungle theme and concludes our day’s visit.
