A comprehensive but leisurely-paced exploration of the ruined cities and jungle temples of Cambodia's fabulous Angkor
4-day tour of the World Heritage Angkor Temples
Our Angkor tour provides a perfect visit to Cambodia’s awe-inspiring World Heritage site, with its vast jungle-clad temples and mysterious stone carvings. We include a comprehensive tour of all the major sites, plus some lesser-known ones, including a short jungle trek to some rarely visited temples as well as both sunrise and sunset visits.
We’ve spent over 15 years fine-tuning our Angkor tour with the intention of offering you a comprehensive tour, with a wide variety of sites, yet doing so at a leisurely pace. Siem Reap can get very hot and Angkor is a very popular destination so our aim is to optimize your time spent at the temples by avoiding both the worst of the heat and the crowds as well as reducing any possibility of ‘temple fatigue’. The chances are this may be your only visit to what is one of the world’s most spectacular wonders, so we’ll help you to get it right and, if you are lucky enough to have already visited, it surely deserves a second look?!
Our suggested accommodation is a comfortable mid-range hotel, well located in the centre of Siem Reap, with pool and spa facilities, however, various upgrades to 4 or 5* are available upon request.
The price shown to the right is per person based on two sharing. For a private extension for one person, the price is £445 while for larger groups please contact us for reduced rates.
Note that, while our principal Cambodia tours obviously include Angkor in their itineraries this Angkor extension is ideal for tours finishing in Siem Reap, such as our Mekong Adventure or Emerald Triangle tours. Also bear in mind that Siem Reap International Airport has numerous flight connections to most major regional airports such as Bangkok, Saigon (Ho Chi Minh), Hanoi, Vientiane (Laos), Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
Here's an idea of what you can expect to do and see day-to-day.

Josie Galloway & Piers Williams
" The 4-day extension to Angkor Wat temples was outstanding in its entirety. Superbly organised with the best guide and driver we could have hoped for; we really felt we learned something not just about the temples themselves but about the Cambodian people through our contact with him. The range of temples visited as well as the amount of time allotted to wander round was perfect. "

" Our guide was very well-informed and eager to impart that knowledge, The most memorable part of this section of the holiday was definitely sunrise at Angkor Wat. The feeling of anticipation was incredible as we were led in the pitch black by torchlight towards the temple itself. Watching the detail of the towers emerge as we sat and drank our coffee (a lovely surprise from our guide) was breathtaking and allowed us to fully appreciate the scale and grandeur of what we about to explore.
