Kep, Kampot and Takeo
3-day tour including quaint colonial Kampot, the picturesque seaside town of Kep and the rarely-visited Angkor temples Takeo Province
Discover Cambodia's less visited parts
Seen Angkor Wat and Bayon’s mysterious faces, visited the tragic Killing Fields site, shopped in the Russian Market and had a sun-downer at the famous FCC? Well here’s an opportunity to discover some lesser known parts of the Kingdom with this fully-escorted, fascinating 3-day tour of Southern Cambodia’s Kep, Kampot and Takeo Provinces.
Discover the excellent Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre, run by Wildlife Alliance in conjunction with Free The Bears. The forested Centre is a refuge for numerous species of animals, local and exotic, that have been rescued from hunters, liberated from private zoos, or that were destined for the wildlife trade. An interesting and worthwhile visit.
We’ll also include the spectacular yet rarely visited Angkor period temples of mountain-top Phnom Chisor and well-preserved Ta Prom; take a boat trip to unspoilt “Rabbit Island” or visit one of Kampot’s world-famous pepper plantations and check-out the town’s old French period architecture. Last but not least, sample the superb Kep Crap in Kampot Pepper sauce at the tiny coastal town’s picturesque Crab Market.
This 3-day extension is suitable for any tour finishing in Phnom Penh and while an extra night’s accommodation in the capital can be provided on the 3rd day if required, we can also drop you directly at the international airport on our return from Kep should it be more convenient.

Here is what out guest have to say about their experience on this tour...
" On the extension trip to Kep and Kampot, between the choppy seas and our guide's correct observation that I am not one for lying on the beach anyhow, he substituted a wonderful trip to a friend's pepper farm in place of the trip to Rabbit Island, and the pepper farm was one of the real highlights of the entire trip! Adding the short trip to Kep and Kampot at the end of the regular Cambodia trip was brilliant, and a lovely way to end a very good summer's travels: thanks for the recommendation! "
