Add on some quality R and R at a comfortable beach-side resort
Extend your Vietnam tour with a few days on Mui Ne's 12 kms of sand
With no domestic flights involved and relatively short driving time from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Mui Ne Beach and fishing port makes a very convenient destination for some quality R and R time either prior to, or after, any of our tours beginning or finishing in Vietnam’s southern capital.
Our resort of choice, Pandanus, is well-appointed, comfortable but low-key and offers a choice of either chalet-style bungalows or classic hotel accommodation in a delightful beachside setting amid palm trees, facing directly onto the South China Sea itself.
In addition to the 12-kilometres or so of Mui Ne Beach, the resort offers a wide range of in-house facilities and options including a spa, yoga, tai chi classes and even a Vietnamese cookery lesson while a variety of trips and tours can be easily arranged. Daily, guided visits to the nearby lively and photogenic fishing port are available while the celebrated ‘red dunes’ – particularly popular at sunset – are within walking distance of the resort. Longer, day or half-day, tours to various local sites are also on offer such as a fascinating day tour to visit the old Cham period ruined city of Panduranga at Phan Rang and can be booked at short notice on site.
Our choice for facilities and value for money is the aforementioned Pandanus Resort and the price quoted is for accommodation in garden view chalets, Both upgrades, or more budget orientated accommodation, can be accommodated and while our suggestion here is a 4 day, 3-night stay, shorter or longer stays are of course available on request.
Our published prices are based on two persons sharing (either a twin or double room) although single person supplements are available while reductions for larger groups or family accommodation are correspondingly on offer. (Please contact our UK office for precise details and rates.)
