The Malay Peninsula

From Kuala Lumpur's eclectic mix of colonial and ultra-modern we'll venture into the oldest rainforest on earth by way of World Heritage George Town and the picturesque Cameron Highlands

10-day Malaysia tour

Discover a vibrant mix of cultures; spectacular scenery, exotic wildlife, varied activities, some of Asia’s best food and plenty of friendly locals on our 10-day West Malaysia tour, The Malay Peninsula.

Visit Kuala Lumpur with its eclectic mix of ultra-modern and British Victorian; UNESCO World Heritage George Town, the tea plantations, (and tea shops) of the delightful old hill-station, the Cameron Highlands, before heading into the rarely visited interior of the Malay Peninsula – still covered by vast expanses of pristine jungle and inhabited by indigenous tribes.

Following on from the tour a choice of extensions is on offer to reflect seasonal variations from coast to coast meaning the spectacular tropical island of Langkawi is recommended from October through to March with the coral reef and turquoise water-fringed Perhentians our suggestion for the March to September period.

Note for those with more time to spare (or to optimize the cost of your airfare!) you can continue your Malaysia exploration to the other half of the country with a flight to Kuching for our 12-day Borneo Adventure or to Kota Kinabalu for the 1-week ‘Land Below the Wind’ Sabah tour.

An off-the-beaten-track and famous sites look at this fascinating and surprisingly still little-known region.
