Learn to cook all your newly discovered Cambodian favourites: the national dish amok – a mild, coconut milk based curry steamed in banana leaves, the spicier, rich, Khmer red curry, a highly unusual banana flower salad, classic spring rolls and Cambodian style banana fritters in honey and passion fruit juice for dessert.
Easy to fit into your free time in Siem Reap with a choice of morning or afternoon courses your discovery of Khmer cuisine also includes a fascinating guided tour to the weird and wonderful vegetables fruits and herbs and spices on display in the local market. Small group sizes, expert tuition with individual cooking stations and the stunning setting of a lovingly restored French period cottage make this an instructive and fun add-on to your Angkor visit and tour of Cambodia.

Day 1 - Siem Reap
Choice of morning or afternoon programme begins with a guided tour of Psa Chas, Siem Reap’s Old Market, before moving on to our nearby cookery ‘school’, a beautifully restored old French period cottage in a garden setting. Learn to cook 5 dishes including starter, main courses, salad and dessert with expert advice, individual cookery stations and small group sizes. Then eat! Note a morning course will give you time to digest your lunch with a laze by the hotel pool or siesta whilst for the afternoon course the chef threatens to try out a cocktail making option too! Bon appetit.
