Vietnam tour, ‘World Heritage Sites of Vietnam’ (13 days)

A fascinating 13 day Vietnam tour, ‘World Heritage Sites of Vietnam’ explores Northern and Central Vietnam – areas particularly rich in World Heritage Sites. Our tour includes: an overnight stay on a traditional style junk amid the dramatic scenery of Halong Bay; a boat trip up the Perfume River to visit the ancient tombs in the fabulous former imperial capital of Hue; a walking tour of the charming old port town of Hoi An and the an exploration of the ancient ruined city of My Son. In addition to the famous sites we’ll also explore some of the lesser known highlights such as the picturesque Pu Luong National Park, the ethnic Tai village of Mai Chau and the spectacular caves of Trang An. Extra nights in Saigon after the tour, a few days on a secluded, unspoilt island in the South China Sea or an extension up the Mekong River by boat to Cambodia’s vibrant capital Phnom Penh are also available should you wish to extend your tour.

For those with more time we offer a 17 day version, Hanoi to Saigon, beginning in the capital and taking you via Hue, Hoi An and Saigon into the far southern, picturesque, Mekong Delta region.
