Cambodia photographic tour, ‘Images of Cambodia’ (9 or 13 days)

Our Cambodia photographic tour, ‘Images of Cambodia’. This exciting Cambodia tour, accompanied by one of our experienced, professional travel photographers, Gary Latham or Jeff Perigois, includes the wonderful opportunity of a leisurely but comprehensive tour of one of most stimulating photographic environments in the world; the ruined jungle temples of Angkor. Our photographers have extensive local knowledge of the country, sites and people allowing you photographic opportunities not available to the casual visitor. Furthermore Gary and Jeff will encourage participants to engage with the local people and everyday life as much as shooting views of the stunning temples and landscapes themselves.

An exciting round trip, combining Cambodia’s Angkor temples and best known sites, with some of the more off the beaten track ones, in a road and river adventure through this fascinating and little known country. From the charming riverside capital Phnom Penh we’ll travel overland through picturesque countryside to the mysterious and dramatic, jungle-clad temples of Angkor before crossing the scenic Tonle Sap Lake and travelling by boat through the floating villages of the Sangkar River to Battambang.  After a tour of surrounding villages to take in cottage industries and local life we’ll return to Phnom Penh via the bustling river-port of Kompong Chnang.

Note, for those with less time a 9 day version departing from Siem Reap is also available.
