"It was a cracking holiday. Thank you for the brilliant organisation of it all. A wonderful country and we are so fortunate to have visited and be able to understand a like more of its complicated history."

"We felt fortunate beyond belief to have been recommended to use All Points East. Having done a lot of independent travel over many decades this was our first foray into a tour. Admittedly we had the luxury of being sole travellers but were very well looked after. We were shown areas of life, custom and history that we would not have accessed by ourselves. A stunning and fascinating country. It was a cracking holiday. Thank you for the brilliant organisation of it all. A wonderful country and we are so fortunate to have visited and be able to understand a like more of its complicated history."

"Po was great, so helpful, knowledgeable, went out of his way to accommodate us. Rang Yangon to try and find some forgotten toiletries, rang DHL to get an estimate for shipping an item home, taking us to the silver designers Lake Inle on request. Good sense of humour. Just great
The accommodation was as expected. We didn’t like our room at the Lake Inle hotel (we had come from Kalaw with a room with massive windows opening out over the town) so the Lake Inle room felt small and dark (Po arranged for us to have another room). It was also quite noisy but it was town so not unexpected. The pool at the Bagan hotel was amazing. Overall, a great trip, really enjoyed it."

"The tour was great, it was the right mixture of travel and rest. I felt that we were able to go a bit off the beaten track while seeing the highlights. The hotels were all very good (some better than others but all fine) and much better equipped than I thought they would be. "

"This was my second trip with All Points East and both were excellent. Wi our Tour Leader was excellent, she was always friendly and organised and made sure that everyone was safe, well and enjoying themselves. As well as ensuring that any of the group that were struggling or needed a bit of TLC received it. The Tour Guides we had at each location were also excellent, with great sense of humour, full of information and so knowledgeable, they also made sure the group was looked after well.
I wasn’t expecting much from the food based on some of the general information I had read and I have to say the food exceeded my expectations. All the hotels were excellent and the places chosen to eat were all great and the service was fantastic. The drivers were all friendly and attentive and the boat guys were also excellent, the organisation of the boats is fab. Lesley and Mel you were also really helpful and accommodating in all my queries etc before going away.
While I think I was the youngest in the group it wasn’t an issue and everyone was lovely and I believe we all got on really well as a group and were easy going, which is always a chance you take and I wasn’t disappointed. I had an excellent time and wasn't sorry that I had gone as part of a group and not travelled independently as I normally do. Since coming back I’ve raved about the trip and recommended to everyone they should go to Myanmar before it changes and to definitely go on a group tour and the one I went on was fab! Oh and my balloon ride was marvelous!!!"

"So sorry for the long delay in responding, this was one of those most incredible amazing experience that I just wanted another empty week to savour, to reflect over, to digest slowly. Thank you for providing one of the truly memorable holidays of my life - and I have had a few. The highlight that helped make sense of this wonderful culture had to be Wi and the other guides. That provision of these people who shared so much more than information about what we were traveling through was a real plus. The accommodation was better than I expected but then I guess most hotels and guesthouses in the country are going to be fairly new. Breakfast on the last day in Yangon was not a highlight however!! The variation of where we were on each day and what we did meant there was never a dull moment. And another surprise was the spontaneity of some of the guides. Ma Lar (spelling?) and Bo Bo were masters at it. We came unexpectedly across events that added such a richness to each day. And the group was such fun and I felt able to share and re enjoy the days experience with any of them as we shared a meal together or rode together in the coach. That was nice as I live and travel on my own. I could go on and on but THANK YOU."

“The recent trip to Myanmar was one of the best holidays I’ve been on. Excellent itinerary, accommodation and guides. Wi, our tour guide, was a real treasure – endlessly friendly, cheerful, helpful and informative. The local guides too were all excellent in their own way, and the different personalities and spheres of interest provided welcome variety across the two weeks. I particularly appreciated the level of detailed planning that went into making the trip comfortable – regular loo stops (!), snacks, water, umbrellas etc plus comfortable minibuses. The group size at 11 was perfect and we all got on and interacted well – I know that’s luck of the draw. I will certainly be looking at another trip with All Points East based on my very positive experience of this trip. Many thanks to all.”

"Our tour leader was lovely, very organised and always helpful. The guides were excellent and really enhanced the holiday experience with their local knowledge and anecdotes. We certainly would not have had the opportunity to do all the things that we did if we had tried to travel independently. Our group was excellent and the right size to ensure that we all mixed together. This was the first time that I had travelled with a group and I would certainly do so again based on this holiday – it was so interesting to hear other peoples’ stories and share our collective thoughts/experiences on this trip. We both thought that this was one of our best holidays ever and thank you so much for enabling us to see this amazing country at such a pivotal time in its history".

"...wanted to thank you for this wonderful Burma tour: excellent organization, nice hotels, knowledgeable and helpful guides. Cheers."
Silvio Paschi - April 2015
"We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Myanmar. We were concerned as to how travelling with a group would work out; - this was our first trip with a group and we have always been independent travellers. However, it was a great experience and it was good not to be worrying about whether we would have a bed for the night. Being a small group helped and the others in the group had done a lot of travelling and were very easy going. Myanmar was fascinating and everyone was very welcoming. Thanks for an excellent holiday."

"All of it was brilliant, from the sights to the food and the company. Tour leader, Mark Ord, was very knowledgeable and clearly loved sharing his insights. We also had very good local English speaking guides for each section of the trip. I liked the fact that we saw and did loads but the tour never felt rushed and there was always time to stop off if we saw something, or change plans if an opportunity arose. We stayed at least 2 nights at each hotel which was also important because it meant there was time to relax and get to know the location."

“The food was great – plenty of opportunities to try all the local dishes. The accommodation was of a good standard, well located and comfortable. The guides were all really helpful, friendly and ensured we had some excellent experiences. They shared so much information about life, culture and local points of interest which helped us appreciate the country to the max."

"Brilliant tour, beautiful country, beautiful people, excellent guides".
Arthur Scuffam - 2012
"Loved everything and said that the holiday was first class, well organised, we were always met as planned, descriptions of events were appropriate, local guides were always ready to answer questions and elaborate when required. Our impressions were supported by other participating clients and we did not hear a critical comment throughout the holiday."
Tony and Connie Page - 2012
"Brilliant holiday and left with good impression of All Points East. Would definitely recommend you to our friends and consider you for future holidays. We enjoyed the various experiences which gave us the opportunity to see life as it is in Burma. This we feel was enhanced by travelling with such a small and friendly group. Well done All Points East."
Chris Payne and Pat Harris - 2012
"The trip was excellent....It is rare that a trip lives up to the notes in the brochure, as most
companies use a lot of hyperbole, but this one did."
Deborah Smith - 2012
"......... awesome! Came back into a whirlwind, so it's been oddly hard to put into much by way of perspective, but we had a truly brilliant time. The guide we had in Inle was, for the record, just superb. All the accom's good and some way better than that. Been giving you massive cred left and right."
