Our favourite Phnom Penh hotel – Hilary Boutique

A fantastic new option for our Phnom Penh stays, the charming Hilary’s Boutique Hotel, has proven a huge success on our Cambodia tours since it’s opening some 3 months back. Our old friend and colleague Veng bought up a slightly run down 60’s villa in a quiet back street of Cambodia’s otherwise hectic capital and converted the building into a small, 14 room boutique style hotel, (and indeed consulted us during conversion, so we can actually say the hotel was set up with All Points East customers specifically in mind!)

Rooms are simply but tastefully decorated and of course all fittings are spanking new. There’s a pleasant outdoor breakfast and eating area, free Wi-Fi in the lobby, a great little pool and garden area and a bar serving cold beer and cocktails to allow you to cool off after an often sticky day’s touring the Phnom Penh sites. (Note the cocktail list required extensive testing with Veng before being finalised!)

Not a bad spot for breakie!?

Veng’s wife Syna helps manage the hotel and their kids are often seen cooling off in the pool so a genuinely family run establishment of the kind we prefer but that isn’t always easy to find. Located down a quiet side street just beyond Sihanouk Boulevard Hilary’s combines tranquility with a central location – perfect for our needs!

Ideal little oasis in Cambodia’s, fascinating but somewhat chaotic capital city; we wish Veng all the best, (but not too much or he won’t have enough rooms for us), and look forward to our next stay.

Cheers!

I have been looking at your site and I am interested in your February Cambodia tour for myself and (lady) partner. I would be grateful if you could advise on the dates and other information.
We would travel by BA to Pnom Penh (correct ? !); onward travel from there? When I looked at timings, we would arrive a Siem Riep in the evening and I think we would need the next spend the next day there, to recover from the flights, before starting the tour
I would be grateful if you could advise on a schedule from departing from LHR to returning there.
I hope I have given sufficient information for you to propose a schedule.

    Best Wishes,

    Iain Jack

Hi Iain – apologies for the delay – been up-country out of Wi-Fi range for a few days. Easiest thing is to contact our office on info@allpoinsteast.com – they will be able to provide all info concerning dates, schedules, availability etc. Feb. tour starts on 13th in Phnom Penh and there is still availability. We do also offer the oturs inclusive of return flights LHR-Phnom Penh.

      Thanks for your request,

      Mark
